When asked about my best win on an online gaming site, I would always shrug and struggle to conjure up a memory – until last week.

I played 10 lines at 10p, which is £1 a spin. I wasn’t banking on my money lasting more than 3 minutes but my second spin produced a picture of a woman followed by 4 wilds in a row and it flashed up I won £225 on one single £1 spin!

After screaming and bouncing around, I decided I’d play £10 more on the game and then bank the rest. After spinning a further four or five times, I was presented with a bonus game which requires you to click on a skull which contains a multiplier. All I remember is 500 popping out of the skull – it then informed me I had won £400! I ended up sensibly banking £600.

I also told my mother of the game and the next day she won £225 too.
