www.livebingo.com - We are all aware of how frustrating it is when you settle down at the computer with a cuppa, get into a good old game of bingo only to hear ‘’MUUUUUUUUUUUM!!’’ or ‘’ how long are you going to be? I need the computer’’ It seems the house, husband and kids simply cannot function without super mum, so why not kick the hubby and kids out for an hour or two? Us mums all need a bit of time to ourselves, and lets face it-we deserve it!

Short of actually kicking them out the door why not suggest daddy takes the kids on a nature walk, collecting conkers, autumn leaves and acorns and getting their wellies as muddy as possible, they can show you their finds when they get home and maybe make something using their finds. And it doesn’t cost a thing.
Maybe they could visit the city farm? They could take lots of photos while they’re there to show you when they get home.

If it is raining (imagine that) then what about the cinema? or bowling ? Ice-skating? An indoor play centre?
I think with all us mummies do, we deserve an hour or two to kick back and indulge in some peace and bingo…and maybe some chocolate too.

The popular pastime of bingo has been entertaining us for hundreds of years and has become one of the most frequented games in the UK today.  Each week millions of people chance their luck and this has become more popular since the introduction of online bingo in recent years.

You will have noticed that the land based halls for eg, Gala, Mecca etc all have an online offering – they have to be thinking if we cant them to us we will go to them and this has worked out fantastically well for them.  You also have to remember that the land based halls don’t offer sign up bonuses, first deposit bonuses and promotions that we see on an online site today or an opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

  My choice of play has to be the online game and this now is the case for millions of people, convenience has got to be the winner here and a chance to play 24/7 is the icing on the cake but all that aside, don’t let what an online game is offering put you off a land based game, there is still lots of fun to be had at a land based game and isn’t that what bingo is all about!!!

Many people playing Bingo and taking place in other forms of gambling have some form of a lucky charm that they keep with them whilst playing. These may include a number of things such as cuddly toys, jewellery or wearing special clothing.

Along with the many using a Lucky Charm I am one of them. I have a small white teddy bear that my Nan gave me when I was younger that I have next to me when I play Online Bingo. This is because it reminds me of her and the fun we have when we go to play in our local Bingo Hall. Something else that makes me feel lucky is to cross my toes and knees, sounds weird doesn’t it but it is something I naturally do when I’m playing Bingo! I like to have a picture of my children on the table when I’m at home playing online as they bring me luck.

Other things that I do that make me feel luckier are I always circle or put a diagonal line across the Bingo Numbers, I do not like the thought of putting a cross through a number. I also would not use a red pen as I feel it is unlucky. These ways that I have could also be viewed as superstitions!

When my Nan goes to our local Bingo Hall she has to sit in the same seat and she also kisses her Bingo Cards. This goes to show that whatever age you are we all have our little quirks that make us feel that little bit luckier and I love mine!

When asked about my best win on an online gaming site, I would always shrug and struggle to conjure up a memory – until last week.

I was emailed a newsletter by meccabingo.com and informed of a new game they had introduced into their side game section and it stated that they would double any deposit on that day so I thought I’d have a go, being a fan of the side slots at Meccabingo.com.

After depositing my £10, I found the new slot they had raved about “Mayan Mania” – a 20 line slot with a Mayan/Egyptian type theme, which included wild symbols, a free spin feature and a bonus feature.
I played 10 lines at 10p, which is £1 a spin. I wasn’t banking on my money lasting more than 3 minutes but my second spin produced a picture of a woman followed by 4 wilds in a row and it flashed up I won £225 on one single £1 spin!
